DPI Laboratory (Dongguan) Limited was successfully extended ISO/IEC17025:2005 accreditation with Scope Expansions on Food Contact Material Test by ANAB (Formerly called ANSI-ACLASS) on April-15-2015.
About ANAB
ANAB is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides accreditation services to public- and private-sector organizations and is jointly owned by the American National Standards Institute and the American Society for Quality.
ANAB provides accreditation ISO/IEC 17025 testing, calibration, and forensics laboratories, ISO/IEC 17020 inspection bodies and forensic inspection agencies; ISO/IEC 17043 proficiency testing providers, ISO Guide 34 reference material producers, and industry-specific programs.
From ACLASS to ANAB
With the acquisition of ACLASS in October 2007, the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board expanded its services to include accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies, reference material producers, and proficiency testing providers.
The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board is moving to the single brand ANAB from the current three brands: ANAB, ACLASS, and FQS. The return to the single ANAB brand reinforces the company’s position as the American national accreditation body.
What will be changed?
The accreditation symbol in our report would be changed from ANSI-ACLASS to ANAB immediately. Together with the ILAC MRA symbol, our testing report and results could be recognized by nearly 70 economies over the world.
